Debated between a 4 and 5 star rating, but ultimately decided to go "4.5" and round up to 5.The good: Easy to use and has a very tight grip. Haven't done any hardcore testing to determine voltage drop, but a quick continuity test shows no noticeable increase in ohms when running 2 small wires through the device. It's simple and gets the job done for a fair priceThe bad: If I had to make any complaints, it takes a bit of effort to open. Not really difficult to do, but requires a bit more effort to prize open than you would imagine. But with just enough force to require you to make a quick grunt, it pops open. Then when you close it, it slams closed very fast, so much that it will briefly sting the tip of your finger sometimes. When it does this, it only hurts for a second or two, so just a slight annoyance. Also, the over 2 port ones don't do exactly what I thought they would as all ports are connected together (conductively speaking). That is, if you connect a wire to each port on the 4 port device and apply voltage on one wire, that same voltage comes out the other 3 wires. So you're just splitting that one wire into 3 wires. I was thinking the 4 port would let you connect 2 wires of positive voltage and 2 wires of negative, but these won't do that; You'd have to use one connector to connect 2 wires for positive and a separate connector to connect 2 wires for negative. But there's enough 2 port connectors in this kit that I was still able to get my project done, even though it used twice the amount of expected connectors.Overall, I'm satisfied and will probably be ordering more to have on hand.
