Product is very thought out. You can see both wires to ensure they have both overlaped through the single crimp ring. Plus there is a narrowed o-ring (best i can use to describe) at each end to hug the wire shielding. Once crimped add heat for a watertight connection.Hints.1. Use a crimp tooth that is smooth so not to puncture or rip the wrap.2. Support the entire connection til it cools. Once hot it is very flexible and somewhat weak. But once cooled again it becomes rigid.I really like and yes i would recommendUsed it to add in line frequency crossovers for my auto component speaker system.The included wire cutter/stripper is crap. The blade kept coming out.They seem to work well.Finally an easy and better way to splice. These are freaking awesome.Missing all the white solder connectors. Doesn't have a consistent melting point.The heat shrink plastic on the solder connector,melted before the solder did.They worked amazingly, I will be buying more and telling everyone I know about them!A Must have for doing a jon boat to bass boat conversion!
