I prefer this style of tap because they are easy to install and troubleshoot if you do have issues. They are a great deal for the money.Poor, low quality, connection. Would not recommend for anything critical.I bought this to split a 10 wag. It states that is is designed for that, however, it does not. It can hardly work on the 12 Awg wires. The plastics is really soft and the lock is not reliable.Best way to make splice connections on the OEM wiringGood price,get the job done.Was very cheap, has to be better versions out there!NO PROBLEM FOR IN-LINE SPLICING.
