Product Description

Sopoby 150PCS Solder Seal Heat Shrink Butt Wire Connectors (Purple) SPECIFICATIONS: Color: Purple Inner Diameter: 5.4mm Cable cross-section: 2.5-4.0 mm²(A.W.G: 14-12) Package included: 150PCS FEATURES: ▶Waterproof Seal - Dual-Walled tubing ensures waterproof seal and prevents wire corrosion. Hot melt adhesive & solder inside, sealed with advanced waterproof function. ▶Fast & Easy Operation - Just strip your wires, insert them into the connector and apply heat. Transparent sleeve provides precise inspection, easy control soldering process. ▶No Slip Wire Contact - Tubing reduces in size and solder will melt and flow through the stripped wires, ensure strong holding, avoids wires slipping out from the terminal. ▶Great wiring solution for hard to reach or limited space areas. Make properly soldered and waterproof connections in less than 30 seconds. USING INSTRUCTIONS: ① Strip wire insulation 1/3 inch on both wire ends. Insert into the solder sleeve and twist the wire strands together. ② Continuously rotate the connector when using a heat gun to apply heat evenly around the solder until it flows into the wire strands. ③ Then apply heat to the two ends of the tubing until the adhesive flows and seals the wires. ④ Remove the heat and let it cool down for use. NOTICE: It is advised to use a heat gun which is 1500-2000W and keep it a distance of 3-5cm to the solder connector when applying heat. The wire connector would easily broken if the heat is too close to it. Shrinkage ratio: 2:1 Connector working temperature: -55℃ - 125℃ (-67℉ - 257℉) Minimum shrink temperature: 80℃ (176℉) Minimum temperature for solder to melt: 138℃ (280.4℉)

Product Features

Easy To Use: NO Crimping Needed. Transparent sleeve provides precise inspection when strip and insert wires inside. Color-coded tubing makes it easy for you to pick up for use.

High Thickness Solder Ring: The high-density solder ring melts under the hot air gun's effect, generating more solder to wrap the wires. This enhances electrical conductivity, so the wires will be tightly connected and not easily detached.

Polyolefin Tubing: The shell of the connector is made of quality polyolefin material, resistant to corrosion and chemical attack.

Sufficient Hot Melt Adhesive: The solder connector contains sufficient hot melt adhesive to grasp the wires, featuring weatherproof performance.

Quality Guarantee: We stand behind the quality of our products. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee, and a 12-month replacement warranty. 100% Satisfaction Guarantee for risk-free purchases!

It looks like it will Quite a bit easier to install and it looks like the last a lot longer than normal styleThese work great. There are generic ones that look identical that are garbage.Nothing else to add, except maybe there isn't enough of the 18-22 gage connectors. But then again, I could have bought just a set of 18-22 gage connectors. which I did eventually do.Before applying the heat shrink butt connector, I usually apply di electric grease..shrink it, and the run an additional shrinking sleeve over the splice or repair I just made. I had to repair the wiring g harness on my Peterbilt tractor here recently, and applied the exact process mentioned above. coincidentally, I had a load to run to Colorado. They got poumded with snow, and all the connections I made held up like a champ. It took me forever (because I did it correctly and soldered all the wires first before sleeving it all) but was way worth the quality results!Very simple and easy to use. Just have to be careful when running a heat source over it to melt the solder. If too prolonged, the casing will melt away and the solder will bleed out. Otherwise, this works exactly as intended and expected.Works good as supposed to. The metal in the middle melt pretty well. I just used a small craft heat gun. I used them on my boat wiring. Usually I go over with a shrink tubing for extra protection and to make everything look consistent. This is a very good product. I use a butane torch, but a handheld lighter works fine too. Gives a good, waterproof connection that doesn't turn loose in most sitiations. The only drawback is they are NOT GASOLINE RESISTANT.These are great for your wire connections. Easy to install, shrink tubing, solder & glue all in one for a great connection. These are the size I use most.
