I only needed to splice in a few wires for my Fortin standalone remote start kit. Although it was a bit tricky to make sure they they fit securely in the opened up cable sleeves, the single wire tees proved to be compact and robust enough to get my wiring done without the need for messing around with wire insulation and solder. It was a little bit difficult opening up connectors I already installed in the tight spaces, since I accidentally shut one without crimping on the second wire for the T-tap.The clear closing latches that you crimp on are very durable, are not easily damaged by a crimp, and serve as a good tray to keep the wire in place. For reference, I was dealing with 20 and 22 AWG wires. I do not review much, but these got me out of a bind since I wasn't too thrilled about using cheap plastic T-taps from Menards that experienced remote-start installers highly advised against using. Now I can enjoy the rest of my winter with a remote start! These were a great way for my to added after market speakers top my car. I just used these to splice the new wire connectors into the factory wires in the car. These turned out great. I don't think you could use these with any large gauge wire, or in a space that is exposed to the elements. But for the price, these were a great option so I could keep the factory connectors. These are very handy when in tight areas or if you’re unable to use buttsplices. Easy to use and remove as needed. The only con is that they may loosen if in a high vibration area, which you’ll have to keep in mind if you start having issues. I haven’t had an issue yet inside car main console and I drive interstate everyday for 200 miles.I used these to install some custom fender turn signal on my car. Definitely would buy again but one of the larger pack. They are easy to use and install but you WILL need pliers to close it shut which I think is a good thing.I wanted an easy way to wire-in a Bluetooth audio adapter into my car's Aux input. Dealing with a soldering iron in such cramped quarters seemed like a pain so I opted for these connectors. I am very pleased with them. Very easy T connections. They are compact and the housing is clear on top so you can inspect the wire placement before you use pliers to clamp them down. They lock securely into place, but they can be opened and reused using a knife blade and some effort. These seem nice, but advertised for 24 ga which is what I need. Printed on them it says 0.5-0.75on the top part of the T (in sellers photos you can just make out the 0.75). Assuming this is the metric designation, this means 20 to almost 18 ga.On the bottom part of the T it says 0.35 - 0.5 which means 22 - 20 ga. So it's really meant to splice 22-20 onto 20-19.Also says Xian Chong on there, and gives the voltage /current spec listed. Was to difficult to use very hard to push down to get the wire to sit correctly had to go back to a standard wire connection. Would not buy againThese connectors seemed to be the answer for wiring up LED lights on my UTV until I tried to use them. They may work good for small Chinese fingers, but are too difficult to manipulate with mine. First, they all came closed and the only instructions for opening them was "You will need a pocket knife or something to pop them open". I make it a practice to limit the use of sharp items when I get frustrated. And these connectors were definitely frustrating, especially if you are trying to insert individual wires as opposed to the twin wire red/black stuff. Also if you use wire with tough insulation they do not reliably cut thru the insulation and make contact with the wire. I purchased a roll 20GAWG twin wire from Amazon that fell into this category and could not get them to work with this wire although they did work with other wire I had. Finally I gave up and threw them all in the trash and went back to using solder and shrink tubing.
