Also, be very careful with the proper size selection. The connectors tend to be oversized.A very simple and quick product to use with a heat gun for best results. Solder melts quickly and flows well into wire. Glue is more than sufficient for keeping water out and it adheres to wire well.My husband uses these all of the time and likes them much better than the crimp connectors.I bought the 300 piece kit and blew through the red connectors quickly for I used them the most. So I figured I buy more.This was my first use of solder seal connectors from this brand, and I liked these better than the other brand I've used (Hasitronica).These seemed to melt at a bit lower temp, which was nice.Easy to use time will tell how good they are
