I ordered these to use to mate 7-conductor 18AWG solid copper wire with drops that I'm using across my attic to connect three 12V motorized shades. The "levers", which are really "sliders" are a bit counter-intuitive: you press them in, insert the wires, and pull out the sliders to secure the wires. While they seem to hold firm, I'm a bit concerned that they could get knocked so I'm going to put the connection inside a little plastic junction box in my attic so they can't get bumped.Other than that reservation, the connection feels secure and I wasn't able to pull the wires out.
