Must use on small wiringThese came in good condition months ago and I just got around to using them. Having been an A/C tech for years I've seen these used in heaters and such where heat insulated wires came together. We have an appliance that would not work well at all. I tried numerous ways to make this appliance function, new parts and ideas I've seen on the internet and it just wouldn't work right. My wife was pulling out her hair ( This brand new appliance was just a pain) and wanting to buy different type again for $700! So I acted! They are sensors in four areas that would not allow for to get her work done. I disassembled each one and cut the two wires to each sensor and used these wire nuts to reconnect these two heat insulated wires. These tightened up well and the wires were snugly held together, I did a pull test and they did not come out of the nuts. I carefully reassembled each housing and now these four elements work great! I have experience with heat elements, electrical circuits and the insulation for hot areas (this is a all metal appliance) and I tested these well before I called this project a success. My wife's now so happy she's going to make me a special meal!I didn't buy a new appliance so I'm happy too!Exactly the part we neededExtremely small innards and no wire mesh.
