Easy to use…. Just have to get use to using a heat gun on themPerfect for wireing projects and being "Marine Grade" is a plus.These work very well and they are easy to use and make electric connections solid. Will be buying again when I run out.I have used this for a few different projects on my truck. Easy to use, way easier than traditionally soldering and much better than crimp connectors. Would definitely buy again and recommend.used these quite a bit lately working on the trailer and boat. a regular torch to heat them will burn the rubber out and not melt the solder. If you use a head gun, it all falls into place. but then you have to have electricity and sometimes a small soldering torch is the best thing.... it has some type of gell also which does the waterproofing well.Been using shrink tubing for years now but a buddy recommended this style couple years ago and I didn't believe it would work. Seems like the solder was just an extra charge. I was wrong.. These little bad boys are amazing. A regular lighter doesn't work so hot but a low flame torch lighter does the trick perfectly. A must in my tool box and the price is perfect for a long lasting waterproof connect. They soften up to create the bond then seal up to a rock. I definitely recommend these connecters as I've seen the results.I was amazed by the simplicity of using this product. What is concern of the holding strength but I’ve been able to pull on the wires and they do not come loose give it 10 thumbs upI bought these because they are supposed to be weather resistant and seem like they are easier than soldering and adding heat shrink. Normal crimp style connectors don't protect against water. I've only used a few connectors so far, but overall I'm happy and they work well. They are certainly less work than soldering and if done correctly will provide a good connection.
