I used it for some stepper motor connection, took me 2 weeks to figure out the problem with why the motor wasn’t work was that the crimp doesn’t connect the wire; also i was kinda hoping it fir the 18AWG, it cut through but doesn’t close fully, so I’m still thinking about safetiness before actually install it on my car.Also, use a crimp/clamp to close it, don’t use your tooth for it like i initially did ???I tried this product because it appeared to be a time saver, but product didn't work as expected. When setting the splicer into the wire, it just cracked and fell off without making contact through the insulation into the wire. Waste of money and time. Sticking with wire nuts.This is small and just right for my project. The only issue I had is hard to remove/reopen it when you did a mistake but probably it is designed that way. Hopefully there will be next version.Works well as decribed. If you have lineman pliers or needle nose pliers just use these tools to crimp down on the connector.No more soldering...these are the bombGreat product. Fast shipping. AAA+++These things are a joke!
