Use a torch or lighter to heat the heat shrink tubing part evenly to finish. ( Caution: Do Not heat Connector Part) 6. Completely shrink the heat shrink tubing to finish it.

Shrink slides off wire but when heated (and plastic melted slightly as well. I’m using 14 gauge wire, 3 way splicing and the shrink doesn’t seem to seal at the base as welltried to use on #12 landscape wiring. when paired with the lighter wired lights I was trying to connect just couldn't get a secure "bite" 9 out of ten times.solid or coarser stranded wire would probably work ok but for sprinkler or landscape wiring that this product is claiming, forget it.oh yea, electrician for 30 plus years.These do the job. Used underwater for a water fountain connection.Simple put two or three or six wires if they're small enough and to the silicone filled twist a nut, twist, heat up the shrink-wrap and sealed up just that easy but it underground you're good to go. Good product for the money.
