Strip & Insert (1) Select the terminal with right wire gauge for the wires; (2) Strip 2 wires to about 8mm; (3) Twist and insert into splice barrel in the middle. 2. Crimp (1) Crimp the middle side of the terminal; (2) Crimping tool with gauge dots is better choice for this project. 3. Apply Heat (1) Rotate the terminal while applying heat until it reduces in size and the adhesive flows, filling gaps within the connector; (2) For better results, you’d better use a heat gun. 4. Seal & Done. (1) Inspect your waterproof quality connection. (2) Allow the terminal to cool down for use. HOW TO USE SOLDER SEAL WIRE CONNECTORS? 1.Strip & Insert (1) Strip wire insulation 1/3 inch on both wire ends. (2) Slip the connector into one of the wires. (3) Twist the strands together. 2.Apply Heat (1) Apply heat while continuously rotating the wire to make the connector evenly heated. (2) For better results, you’d better use a heat gun. 3.Seal & Done (1) The tubing will shrink down. Solder will melt and flow through the stripped wires. (2) Allow the connector to cool down for use. 4.No Crimping Required No crimping needed. Minimum shrink temperature: 80°C (176℉) Minimum temperature for solder to melt: 138°C (280.4℉)
